Project Brief
'AN INGENIOUS CONTRIVANCE'
Based on the research gathered in Project1 & Project2, we are required to design an Otak-U Creative lab, which act as an incubator to nurture the creativity of the selected community. It serves as a lab for the users to explore their obsession/passion, discover the magic of imagination, develop the possibilities and commercialising the outcome to the specific target areas. We have to apply the activities and programming created in project2 and offers a range of services that allow users to innovate and stretch the ideas as well as to commercialise the products at the designated space "THE ROW"

Reflection
For this project, we have to first identify our obsession/passion, explore and dig into our obsession. My obsession is singing, especially in Acapella. Ive been practising acapella for ten years since I was just a child. Ive learnt that programming planning isn't just placing the spaces whether functional or non-functional into an interior space, but to understand the size a certain program needs, the requirements and the conditions of it.
I faced several hard times in this 14weeks, uncertainties, confusions .... but im glad to have Mr.Vickrem as my tutor ( thank you Ms.Norji, Mr.Imran too! ), Mr.Vickrem really helped me a lot on my final project, tons of good advices and suggestions for the next improvements... Its extremely important to have a good management of time schedule I've learnt. Due to the lacking of proper lessons of modelling and 3d rendering softwares, Mr.Imran had given us a basic SketchUp tutorial in class that we appreciate sir's tutorial so much! By the way, me and some of the classmates learnt how to use Lumion6 ourselves, we learn and helped each other in this project, I am so thankful for the helps and also understand the importance of peer learning! I also learnt ( still learning ) the importance of a good presentation board layout.
So now, its a wrap for semester 3 final! more to go and lots of improvements.
