PROJECT 02: BUILDING SERVICES OF A BATHROOM
Project Brief
The aim of this assignment is to enhance your awareness on the balance between the aesthetics of a designed space (ie bathroom) and the corresponding network/technical design of the building service (Water Supply Network) and how it ultimately can affect the level of service/comfort to the Client/User. This enhances the students’ appreciation and intuition for building service systems design and construction process and integration with other stakeholders in the industry value chain namely the M&E Engineer and the contractor, to meet the needs of the Client/User.
For this assignment, I am in a same group with Sunny Chung Cheng Hong and after our discussions, we have decided to make a simple but functional bathroom building service. Photos are showed below.
After our first attempt to build the piping network, we did a testing by pouring the water down. At the first time, only the piping of lavotory is successfully flowing out water. Then we correct ur mistakes by creating more branches and did a lot of calculations and in the end, the piping network of the bathroom building service is working!
